Strategic Plan 2026–2028
Towards a national and regional reference in plastic & reconstructive surgery. An institutional plan with measurable, lasting impact.
Strategic plan 2026–2028
Four priorities for the next three years, with the measures the Executive Committee will report against.
The plan concentrates the Association’s effort on a small number of things it can genuinely move: the quality of training available in the Kingdom, the standard of practice expected of members, the evidence base behind that practice, and the quality of information available to patients.
Progress is reviewed by the Executive Committee twice a year and reported to the general assembly, with each priority carrying a named lead and a small number of measures.
The four priorities
- Strengthen specialty training and CME
- Publish and maintain practice standards
- Build a national audit and research base
- Improve public information and access
What success looks like
Measured
Each priority carries measures the Committee reports on at the general assembly.
Owned
A named Committee member leads each priority and answers for its progress.
Reviewed
The plan is revisited every six months and adjusted where the evidence says it should be.
Take part in the work
Much of the plan depends on members volunteering for working groups, audits and teaching.
