About the Bahrain Association of Plastic Surgery
A professional body for plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeons practising in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Association brings together the surgeons who practise plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery in Bahrain. It exists to hold the specialty to a single standard, to support surgeons through their training and careers, and to give the public a reliable place to turn for information about the field.
It operates under the umbrella of the Bahrain Medical Society and works alongside the National Health Regulatory Authority, the teaching hospitals and the regional specialty bodies. Its work is carried out by an elected Executive Committee and by members who volunteer their time.

What the Association does
Sets the standard
Defines what good plastic surgical practice looks like in Bahrain and holds members to it.
Teaches
Runs courses, webinars and an annual conference, and records CME credit for members.
Speaks for the specialty
Represents plastic surgery to regulators, hospitals, the media and the public.
Join the Association
Membership is open to qualified plastic surgeons and to trainees in recognised programmes. Applications are reviewed by the Executive Committee.
